The TGP assessment delves into key team areas:

Psychological Safety

The assessment measures the level of psychological safety within the team, which is the degree to which team members feel comfortable taking risks, voicing concerns, and making mistakes without fear.

Green Zone Practices

The TGP evaluates behaviors that drive great team outcomes, categorized into three core areas and six leadership practices:
  • Align: How the team aligns behind a shared purpose and demonstrates values that foster trust and accountability. (Practices: Vision & Priorities, Values & Honesty)

Red Zone Practices

The assessment identifies behaviors that limit team effectiveness, often rooted in past stress responses, categorized into three dimensions:
  • Approval: Behaviors focused on gaining approval, such as self-promotion, enabling, pleasing, and passivity.
  • Control: Behaviors focused on maintaining control, such as being forceful, objectifying, critical, and perfectionistic.
  • Security: Behaviors focused on maintaining security, such as being distant, cautious, defensive, indecisive, and reactive.

Assessment Debriefing Process

The TripleGoal Team Development Profile provides valuable insights through two distinct yet complementary reports:

Individual Report

Each team member who participates in the 360° assessment receives a confidential report summarizing the feedback they received from their colleagues. This report highlights individual perceptions of their behaviors in relation to the Green and Red Zone practices and provides a personal foundation for understanding their contribution to the team dynamic.

Collective Report

Aggregating the individual feedback, this report provides a comprehensive overview of the team’s strengths and areas for development as a whole. It identifies prevalent Green and Red Zone behavioral patterns within the team, highlights the overall level of psychological safety, and pinpoints areas of alignment and misalignment. This collective view enables the team to have a shared understanding of their current state and focus their growth efforts strategically.
