TripleGoal Team Development Program
The TripleGoal Team Development Program provides a structured, scalable approach for building a high-performing workplace culture and taking teams to the next level of performance, engagement and innovation. It helps teams identify and eliminate “red zone” behaviors that hinder progress, while fostering “green zone” behaviors that drive tangible results and achieve the triple goal.

Program Overview
Culture is a powerful force that can shape a team and/or organization’s ability to deliver on its vision and strategy. A team’s culture influences how members interact, collaborate, and pursue shared objectives.
Challenges can arise when teams develop unhealthy behaviors. For instance, if a team prioritizes “image management” over open and honest communication, or if misalignment with core values is allowed to persist, it may lead to the development of a “Red Zone” culture.
To address these challenges and cultivate healthier team dynamics, the TripleGoal Team Development Program uses the concepts of “Red Zone” and “Green Zone” behaviors.
Red Zone Behaviors
- Approval-seeking behavior that may compromise integrity.
- Control issues that could reduce flexibility and empathy.
- A focus on image management rather than authentic communication.
- Defensiveness.
When Red Zone behaviors dominate, they can contribute to a culture characterized by low psychological safety. In such a culture, team members might feel less inclined to take risks, share ideas, or challenge the status quo. This can impede a team’s ability to execute effectively, adapt to change, and maintain high levels of engagement.
Green Zone Behaviors
- Alignment around a shared purpose and values.
- Clear expectations, accountability, and the recognition of successes.
- A focus on continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
- Psychological safety, trust, and open communication.
- Self-regulation and emotional regulation.
The TripleGoal Team Development Program aims to guide teams in becoming more aware of their current behavioral patterns, reducing Red Zone tendencies, and cultivating Green Zone behaviors to foster a more productive and positive team culture and achieve the Triple Goal.
Program Duration
The program is designed to be completed over 4-5 months, with a minimum of 17.5 hours of participation.
Program Structure
The TripleGoal Team Development Program delivers lasting transformation through an engaging curriculum built on a foundation of behavioral science, adult development principles, and “immunity to change” research. The program’s 4 modules provide a structured framework for teams to evolve their dynamics and achieve sustainable high performance.
- Module 1 – Vision, Alignment, and the “I, We, It” Model: Establish a clear vision for the team and connect individual roles with the overarching team goal.
- Module 2 – Red & Green Zone Behaviors: Understand team behaviours that enhance or detract from team performance.
- Module 3 – Team OBP and Personal Growth: Understand the team’s underlying derailers, and design team rituals and accountability mechanisms to foster team and individual growth.
- Module 4 – Practice, Growth, and Feedback: Refine and enhance team practices, and introduce essential self-awareness and objective feedback skills to support ongoing team success.
Program Format
The program alternates between digital self-paced modules, workbook activities, interactive facilitator-led meetings and optional offsites:
- Digital Self-Paced Modules: Flexible and accessible learning content that participants can complete at their own pace.
- Workbook Activities: Practical exercises designed to reinforce learning and facilitate real-world application of concepts.
- Interactive, Facilitator-Led Meetings: Collaborative sessions that foster open communication, problem-solving, and team cohesion.
- Optional Offsites: Opportunities for deeper immersion and team building (depending on the team’s needs and preferences).
