Assessment Areas and Dimensions

The LGP assessment provides a comprehensive evaluation of leadership through various key areas and dimensions:

Self-Regulation

The assessment measures a leader's capacity for self-regulation, which is understood as the ability to recognize and consciously manage Red Zone behaviors, transforming them into effective Green Zone actions.

Green Zone Practices

The LGP evaluates a leader’s use of Green Zone behaviors, which are linked to high performance, learning agility, and workplace satisfaction. These practices are organized into three dimensions:
  • Align: How leaders inspire a shared vision and lead through their values.
  • Achieve: How leaders drive performance and engagement through accountability and connection.
  • Grow: How leaders foster innovation, learning, and development in themselves and their teams.

Red Zone Practices

The assessment identifies Red Zone behaviors, which often limit leadership effectiveness. These behaviors, often rooted in past stress responses, are categorized into three dimensions:
  • Approval: Behaviors focused on gaining approval, such as self-promotion, enabling, pleasing, and passiveness.
  • Control: Behaviors focused on maintaining control, such as being forceful, objectifying, critical, and perfectionist.
  • Security: Behaviors focused on maintaining security, such as being distant, cautious, defensive, indecisive, and reactive.

Tough and Nice

The LGP assesses a leader's balance between being "tough" (driving performance) and "nice" (enhancing relationships). Effective leaders often demonstrate both.
